First, when the young are in the nest, resuming their song only after their babies fledge, or begin to fly. And when they are moulting—their singing, shorter and quieter. Sounds oddly familiar—eh? We've been in our nests for quite some time and we also know that some of our own voices have stopped singing. But, one more interesting fact, when robins aren't nesting—they forage in flocks. They gather and roost, especially around an abundant food source (usually fruit) and sing! After a long Winter (or two), Spring is welcomed, anticipated, and we get out of the house. We look for signs of life around the yard, enjoy the bird-song and sing our own songs. We have the same hope of Spring when we think of you! We're excited to gather for the first time in four years, to see your face, and most importantly to sing and worship the Lord together! Can we encourage you, if you haven't already, to register for ACOP 101—the hope of Spring is around the corner. 🌷 P.S. We have a lovely opportunity. If you'd like to help someone attend ACOP 101, we have set up a Sponsorship program. If you're interested please click this link to donate towards the cost of registration. It's time to "flock" together! 🐦 See you this Spring—register at the link below! |
