Family News

We are delighted to introduce Jenni Sobiewski, our new Global Harvest Mobilization and Onboarding Catalyst. With a deep passion for missions and extensive cross-cultural ministry experience, Jenni brings a unique blend of leadership, insight, and encouragement to this important role.

Alongside her husband, she has faithfully served with Global Harvest in three different countries, investing in the advancement of God's Kingdom and the development of leaders around the world.

She is so excited to connect with you—our churches, leaders, and prospective Global Workers! Together with the entire ACOP Global Harvest Team, she's looking forward to serving, encouraging, and strengthening our shared mission of reaching the world with the hope of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Wes Mills had the honour of presenting the ACOP Distinguished Service Award to Barb Metz, posthumously, for her late husband, Rev. Ernie Metz.

Both of Ernie's children, Cheryl and Larry, and his three grandchildren were able to be present for the presentation. We are grateful for the legacy Ernie left in both his family and his ministry. "One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts."—Psalm 145:4

You're incredible! It's such a big newsletter, and you're still here. 🤪

"Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgements, and his paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them? For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.—Romans 11:33-36

A Biblical Doxology; doxa: glory | logia: word or saying, "word of glory."

Just before bursting into this doxology, the Apostle Paul is wrestling with the question of why the nation of Israel had largely rejected Jesus as Messiah. Paul goes on to explain how God uses human rebellion, unexpected timing, and radical mercy to save the whole world!

In vs. 29, Paul reminds readers that "the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." He is a God who keeps his promises; now read the doxology again. Selah.
