On May 8, 2026, Ruth Nygren passed into the arms of Jesus. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her, and we ask for your prayers for Gerald and her family during this time.

The funeral will be held on May 30 at 4:30pm at Coaldale Mennonite Church (2316-17 Street, Coaldale AB, T1M 1G3), with a reception to follow. Please email nygrenministry@gmail.com if you plan to attend so food arrangements can be made.

Rev. Irvin Ellis passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 98.

Irvin served our Fellowship as a pastor and as an instructor at Jubilee Bible College, but his longest involvement was as the editor of the End Times Messenger, later the ACOP Messenger.

Please pray for the Ellis family during this time of loss.

The evening sessions at our upcoming conference in Calgary are open to the public, as well as the business session and award ceremony on Thursday morning. The evening sessions begin at 4:30 on May 26 and 27, and the Thursday morning session will begin with the award ceremony at 8:45 on May 28. If you have not registered for conference, but plan to attend the business session, please let us know by emailing alissa@acop.ca.

Are we living in God’s presence today? Are we seeking to know him more deeply and to hear his voice? Some days, it's the easiest thing in the world to converse with him; others, it feels like our words dry up the second we find time to bring him our concerns.

Leave your past behind and future worries in the Lord's hands. Instead, choose to cling to him today and remain in his presence. If he is speaking to you, do not harden your hearts, but listen to him and be open to his guidance.
