At multiple points throughout our lives, we come to a place where we must make a decision. Oftentimes, these decisions are not clear-cut; there is nuance to everything and it can be stressful to weigh the pros and cons of each choice. The in-between is not a peaceful place to be.
In a few short weeks, we as the Fellowship will make a decision that will affect our future. Some of us may be feeling anxious about the upcoming election, but God already knows what the outcome will be, and we can take heart in that. Whatever happens at the end of this month, the hand of the Lord will be visible, and despite our trepidation about the unknown, He is already going before us and preparing the way for new and exciting things.
We pray wisdom over the voting body, peace over our Fellowship, and grace over our two candidates. God has been present in these proceedings from the very beginning; let us be encouraged by that knowledge!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." -Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV |
