Gospel Gold

Sometimes, as scripture tells us, "man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart." A man who began attending our church, by all outward appearances, was not ripe for the harvest. He played in a rock band and claimed to be an atheist, and was "pro" many worldly things.

Within a month he repented, and began to lay aside his unbelief, beginning to change from the heart. God is so good!

Devotional

When we call out to God in times of hardship, He is there to bring peace and rest, things the comforts of this world can't begin to compare to.

As we carry this supernatural comfort, we can share it to the people around us who are suffering in their own ways. The peace of God overflows from us, changing how we go about our lives in a tangible way, and it becomes second nature to help others in the same manner.

The body of Christ is a beautiful thing; we're meant to care for each other in the way God cares for us!

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." -2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV
