We are excited to get Stirred Up with all of you in a few short months! In our current day and age, the world needs the love of Jesus more than ever, and we want to inspire a renewed passion to reach the local church, Canada, and the world. Stay tuned—registration info is coming soon!

November 16th was an inspiring and encouraging celebration of Verner Drost's remarkable ministry - first as a youth and associate pastor, and for the past 34 years as senior pastor at Smythe Street Church.

While Verner is stepping away from the senior pastor role his work is far from over. He’s stepping into a new season as the Regional Atlantic Director for ACOP and will continue serving as Chaplain for the Fredericton Police Force, a role he's had since 2017.

Verner is an integral part of our fellowship, and we bless and honour him on this milestone. Congratulations Verner!

This Christmas, The Chosen invites your church to join them for a special experience. Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night is a beautiful and moving film about the birth of Jesus from the director of The Chosen, Dallas Jenkins.

It’s completely FREE to screen in your church. Whether you show it as part of your Christmas Eve service, during a Sunday gathering, or in small groups throughout the season, this is a powerful way to draw hearts back to the wonder of the first Christmas.

Kingdom stuff is amazing and a joy to be a part of any day of the week! As a pastor, I get to see the power and love of the Holy Spirit touch lives. And then I get to see these same people reveal God to others through testimony, by the Holy Spirit's power and love. This never gets old!

Snow has been falling over the last several days, and this time of year, we sigh and accept the fact that winter has finally come for good. Amidst the freezing temperatures and icy roads, however, there is something uniquely peaceful about seeing the snow blanket the earth.

If we look at it in a different way, snow can be seen as cleansing. All that happened in the last ten months covered over with pure white. For some of us, it's been a hard year, and we're counting the days until we can close the book on 2025.

Scripture says that through the blood of Jesus, our sins are made white as snow. It's comforting to think that our worries and hardships can be wiped away in the same manner. If you have had a difficult year, we see you. You are not alone, and we want to encourage you that this too shall pass.

"Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." -Isaiah 1:18 ESV
