A very warm welcome to our newest ACOP members! This past weekend in Surrey, BC, saw ten people commissioned and prepared for the next step in their ministry journey, and we are overjoyed to have them join our fellowship.

Gospel Gold

A new "Canadian" (with little English) would come to church, sit in the front row, and faithfully translate the sermon on his phone. He has come to faith in Christ, been baptized, and brought his wife and four daughters to church. The family is now involved and serving in Sunday School or on the worship team. What joy! When a family responds to the life-giving message of the Gospel.

God appoints leaders to guide and edify the body of Christ. It's a high calling, one that often comes with challenges and roadblocks to navigate. However, it also brings a sense of peace and accomplishment; walking in step with the Holy Spirit is one of the most rewarding things we can do, and watching those efforts come to fruition within a church body is truly beautiful.

We encourage you today, if you can, to let your pastor know how much they are appreciated. Their calling is an all-encompassing thing, and the road can be rocky, but God chose them for a time such as this. Tell them they're doing a good job - they'll love to hear it!
