There's always something that feels new about the beginning of September, despite it heralding the slow march to the end of the year. The leaves haven't started to turn yet, but the days grow shorter and the temperature starts its downward spiral toward the single digits. Summer has come to a close and our lives have begun again.
This newness, however, can often go hand-in-hand with stress and anxiety as things begin to ramp up again. Changes in routine are hard to adjust to, but remember, as with anything, God has gone before us and knows how each and every day will end.
We pray blessing and strength over all of you in this new season. What a good and faithful God we serve!
"I will love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." -Psalm 18:1-2 NKJV |
