Village of Hope is a place of healing for many men and women in addiction, and they request prayer for more team members to carry on this ministry both in New Brunswick and in Eston, SK.
Also, they are in the midst of fundraising for a Multipurpose building and an additional women's dorm. Donations will be matched by a New Brunswick government grant up to $1.46 million dollars. The multipurpose building will have a commercial kitchen, classrooms, children’s play space, and banquet seating for up to 250 people—and the new women’s dorm will allow them to expand to accommodate 16 women, up from the current 8 beds. Let's pray for their needs to be met!
Global Workers in the Middle East are experiencing visa troubles—let's pray for them in this season of uncertainty. We pray for God's provision and leading—we'd love to see them continue the work of the Gospel in the field.
Karen Lynn Sheridan finished her final cancer treatment a week ago, Monday. Karen Lynn has grown progressively weaker but is strong in spirit. The doctors are amazed that she has no nausea and vomiting, and little pain.
"We attribute that to the Lord because she's been covered in prayer. Karen Lynn is a worshiper and spends a lot of time listening to praise and worship music and praying. It's a wonderful testimony to others at the hospital (where she receives treatment) because they know she is a woman of God—sharing Jesus with many of them."
Please pray that there is no more progression of this aggressive cancer in Karen Lynn's body.
Joanne McLellan continues to need your prayer—the infection in her body is not resolved and she is waiting for the next steps in treatment. Pray for healing, wisdom and strength. |
