"One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When He finished, one of His disciples said to Him, 'Lord, teach us to pray...'"—Luke 11:1

A spark in his heart. A thought, curiosity, and desire swept through this disciple.

How many times had Jesus gone off to pray? How many times had he witnessed it? Why was his curiosity stirred now? And before he knew it, words were flying out of his mouth...

"Lord, teach us to pray." Wow! The waters are suddenly a little deeper but the desire for the depth is also there. God is among us, drawing us in prayer—let this be our prayer too.

"Evangelism is not about the right plays, programs, tactics, or techniques. Declaring and demonstrating the Good News of Jesus and his kingdom must be marked by fire. If we want to see the Gospel spread like wildfire we need Jesus ambassadors and Gospel communicators who burn."

Thank you very much for praying for Ecuador!

The situation has greatly improved. The president, Daniel Noboa, called up the army and they are on the streets of all the major cities—they, along with the police have been given the authority to stop gang members from committing criminal acts.

Things are beginning to re-open, though the schools remain closed. Please continue to pray for this country and the safety of Norvil & Letty.
