Leadership is a big undertaking. It means giving of oneself in way that can feel near impossible at times. When God calls someone to leadership, however, His hand is on that person, giving them what they need to minister and serve. When He appoints a leader, it is because He knows they can handle what He is asking of them. As October is Pastor Appreciation Month, take some time to encourage your pastors and leaders.

"Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden."—Hebrews 13:17 NIV

ACOP Presidential Election 2024

At the General Conference in 2024, the ACOP will be holding an election for the office of ACOP President. In keeping with policy, the Trustees have officially called for nominations.

On September 29th, all ordained and commissioned members were sent detailed instructions on how to nominate any eligible member to serve as President.

Rev. Wes Mills, our incumbent President, has indicated to the Trustees he is willing to serve another term and can be nominated for another term by the members. President Mills has informed the Trustees that, if elected, this would be his final term to serve.

For more information on the nomination process, election policy, and proposed succession please click the button below. If you are an ordained or commissioned member and have not received an email with instructions to nominate, please email reception@acop.ca.

Let us trust that God has a great future ahead of us as a fellowship, and God guides us as we prayerfully select His leaders from among us.
